Umm Salal’s goalkeeper Baba Malek has re-joined his team’s training sessions after returning from vacation. The player was granted a vacation by the technical staff following Salal’s win over Lekhwiya in Round 8 of the Qatar Stars League.
Umm Salal is now almost back to full capacity and is preparing for their clash against Al Ahli in Round 9 which will be played on November 20.
The only remaining player to join up with the squad is Iranian Teymourian next Wednesday. The player has joined his country’s national team to competing in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia/AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 joint qualifications.
The coming match versus Al Ahli is crucial as the men in Orange look to close in on the top four teams.
Umm Salal is in the 5th position with 15 points, only one point behind Al Arabi.
