Al Wakrah Sports Club reserves played AS Roma in a tough and entertaining contest. The Waves played the Italian club as part of their preseason training programme and lost 3-0.
In the first half Roma built a two goal cushion and in the second half they killed the game off with another goal.
 
The Waves had chances too in front of goal but were wasteful and could not claw back from any pride as the minutes ticked by.
 
Before the match Al Wakrah’s Vice President of Football Jassim Al Tamimi presented Roma defensive midfielder Daniele De Rossi with a Wakrah jersey and gift.
