Al Shahania VS Al Sailiya, December 19, 4pm at the Thani bin Jassim stadium

Al Shahania coach Luka Bonasic:
“My first focus was to change the mentality. And that is what I have been doing over the past two weeks. We have managed to take seven points  from our last three games. That is a good sign for us. Al Sadd and Lekhwiya are the strongest teams this season. The win against such a strong club was very important for us. But we also need to know where we are at this moment. We shouldn't think that we can now go on and beat any team.  We must stay ground but possess a fighter’s spirit.”

“Our game against Sailiya will be different compared to that against Sadd who were constantly on the attack. Against Sadd we just played the waiting game looking for the counter attack. It will be a different game against Sailiya. They will not attack as much. Also after the past couple of results other teams will now be wary of us.”

Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi:
“Our start to the season wasn't so exciting. It was only in the fourth week that my team's performances started getting better. We got some crucial wins and got the points. Even in the matches that we only managed a draw, the team played well and did a good job but individual mistakes cost us. We are working on them. We want to get a few wins under our belt and maintain that momentum, instead of the stop-start rhythm that we have had so far.“

“We are not thinking about third or fourth place in the table. We want to get there but that's not on our minds currently. This QSL season, its easy to climb up the standings because there are almost 10 teams who are on the same level. There is not a big difference between these sides. Al Sadd have lost. El Jaish are not in good position. Al Gharafa is better than last season. Al Arabi has not been consistent. Al Ahli can do better than what they are doing right now. So there are many teams with a chance to do well and improve their rankings.”
