Al Khor players spoke to QSL Online about their new season, their losing start to the QNB Stars League campaign, where they have already lost to Al Arabi and Al Duhail, and determination to fight hard.
We’ll put behind the disappointments: Baba Jibril
“After losing in the first two weeks, we will work more harder to put behind that disappointment and achieve our first win, against Al Shahania in Week 3 of the QNB Stars League. We’re out to put up our best in the upcoming matches.”
We were unlucky against Al Arabi: Salem Khalifa
“We were unlucky against Al Arabi in our opening game. We missed a lot of chances. Had we scored a goal, the result would’ve been different. The next game against Al Shahania will be difficult as they’re a motivated lot following their win over Al Kharaitiyat in the last round.
Our goal is to stay off relegation zone: Mohammed Shaaban
“Against Al Shahania, we’ve better prospects of winning than in the previous two games. Our goal is to stay off the relegation zone. We’re capable of achieving our targets, thanks mainly to the team management and technical staff.”
