Al Sadd midfielder Club Tala l Al Bloushi has called for the Al Sadd fans to come out in force for his sides upcoming derby match against Al Arabi in round 7 of the Qatar Stars League.

 In an exclusive interview with QSL online Al Bloushi stressed that the club needs the support of its fans during this crucial match which is considered one of Qatars biggest derby matches, indicating that the huge spectators attendance during the previous derby Al Rayyan and Al Arabi made for an enjoyable and lively encounter.

Al Bloushi also pointed out to the fact that the clashes between Al Arabi and Al Sadd have tradionally been exciting affairs : “Al Sadd playing Al Arabi is always a tough tie,   we have to work hard and focus in order to be at our best to win  all  three points. We have to prepare well in order not to lose any more points following the disappointing draw versus Al Khor.”

Speaking on the form of Al Arabi Al Bloushi added: “Al Arabi team has improved significantly, and that is down to their new Italian head coach Gianfranco Zola who has a big name and huge experience as a player and a manager.”

Al Bloushi also stressed on the importance of the Sadd fans coming together to support their side for Saturdays match. He also noted that the league campaign is long and will need the fans to push Sadd on in their title challenge.  Finally when asked about the team spirit of the side Al Bloushi said: “The team and our players are up to the challenge and want to add more trophies for Al Sadd.”
