Match kick-off at 19:15 Fri, Feb 6th, 2015 in the Grand Hamad stadium.

Al Arabi coach Daniel Carreño
“We are playing a big team. The game will be very difficult indeed. Both teams will play after a big break. So they too will be trying to make a good start get back some momentum. On the table we are behind Jaish by a lot of points but on the field anything can happen and I think we have quality players.”

“I agree that when you play with just two international players it can affect your performance. But football is like life. We have to try to transform the negative points to positive ones. We know that playing with just two professional players can give more chances to Jaish. But I am sure that for us, it will provide motivation to the local players to do better. It gives a lot of opportunities for local players and that can also help us.”

“I am not worried about the future of the team. I have big ambitions for the team. I am happy with my players. The team is improving and the future will show us what we are capable of doing. I feel that all the people associated with the club are giving their maximum to the team.”

El Jaish coach Sabri Lammouchi
“It will be a tough game. I have prepared the team for one month. There are a few international players who were not with us. Ideally I want the team to have a stronger offensive line but we want to focus on what we have and build on that.”

“It is difficult to think about the title. The gap is 11 points now. And we have only 11 games left. We are playing to take maximum points in order to stay in third place.”

When asked about the difference between coaching a national team and a club, the coach said: “In the national team you have the best players in the country but you only get to work with them when competitions take place. In the club you are working with the players daily. And that's why I took up the Jaish coaching job because I wanted to work daily as a coach.”

“We have a few technical problems. And we want to improve. But I have seen the level of concentration of the team during this break and I am happy with that.”
