Al Arabi started their preperations on Tuesday evening ahead for the coming derby against Al Rayyan in round 6 of Qatar Stars League, with the match kicking off on Saturday the 24th of October at 17:30 pm.

The training session was led by the Italian head coach Gianfranco Zola who masterminded a 3-2 victory over Lekhwiya in round 5. The team underwent light drills, and physical exersises ahead of what promises to be a titanic clash between two of the QSL's most passionate fans. 

In team news, midfielder Abdel Aziz Al Sulaiti and defender Dame Traore both resumed training with the squad after receiving treatment for injuries they recently had. Arabi are set to be at full strength for the upcoming match.

Al Arabi have also congratulated the Al Arabi fans association in doing great job in following the side, and have encouraged them to attract the largest number of spectators possible to the coming derby with Al Rayyan.
