Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Arabi.

“We’re well aware of the fact that the league’s second phase will be tough with non-stop action. We made technical, tactical and physical preparations during the break. I hope the players are now in good shape and we do better than we did in the QNB Stars League’s first phase.

“If you want to beat top sides, you have to be right on top of your game. We have a good chance of finishing among the top-four sides this season, which has been so good for us thus far.

“We can’t afford to wait till the last game or the penultimate game to achieve our target. We have performed well despite having a limited budget compared to some teams. I believe we presented ourselves very well in the first half of the season. We succeeded in providing the best game with limited resources.

“There is no reason to think otherwise in the remaining part of the season. I am satisfied with our present crop of players,” said Trabelsi.
