<p>Al Rayyan ran out comfortable 4-1 winners in Week 22 of the QNB Stars League at the Al Sadd Stadium on Sunday.</p><p>The home team’s goals came through Rodrigo Tabata (18th and 50th<sup> </sup>minutes), Gonzalo Vieira (44th) and Sebastian Soria (90+2).</p><p>Jouhen Beitsoun got Al Ahli’s consolation goal in the 80th minute.</p><p>Al Rayyan had started the game slightly on the back foot as Mohsin Al Yazeedi came close with a volley. That early pressure was not to last though as Tabata got his side’s first of the night. A nice move ended with Moutaouli pulling the ball back from the right byline with Tabata on hand to drive it home.</p><p>As both sides approached the end of the half, Al Rayyan were able to double their lead and take a cushion into the break. Tabata drifted a centralised free-kick over the Al Ahli defence to Moutaouli, whose looping header from an acute angle found its way into the far corner.</p><p>Into the second half and Tabata was on hand again as he slotted past the keeper from the edge of the area.</p><p>Eventually, Al Ahli came into life with a sustained period of pressure on the Al Rayyan goal. Their efforts were rewarded when Beitsoun was able to latch on to a free-kick and volley the ball home.</p><p>Any chance of a dramatic comeback ended in injury time when Koh Myong-Jin was fouled in the penalty area. Soria stepped up and sealed the points.</p>
