<p>Al Gharafa stayed fourth in the QNB Stars League standings with a clinical 3-0 victory over Al Sailiya in Week 20 at the Al Ahli Stadium on Friday.</p><p>Attacking midfielder Wesley Sneijder had a hand in all goals. He scored in the 25th and 90th minutes, and set up Mehdi Taremi in 44th.</p><p>Al Gharafa moved to 32 points with their ninth victory, while Al Sailiya stayed on 25.</p><p>Al Sailiya, desperate for a win and to end an unimpressive run of late, had slightly more of the ball in the first half, but it was The Cheetahs who took a two-goal lead going into the half-time break.</p><p>Sneijder found the target capitalising on a blunder by Al Sailiya goalkeeper Hassan Idriss. The Dutch star shot into an open goal after latching on to a through pass when Idriss left his charge and rushed out even as the defence fell flat.</p><p>After Al Sailiya’s Uzbek spearhead Temurkhuja Abdukholiqov missed a chance, Sneijder tested Idriss with a long-range shot, which the latter parried.</p><p>Close to half-time Sneijder set the stage for their second goal with a defence-splitting pass and Taremi was on hand to score.</p><p>Al Sailiya continued to enjoy more possession in the second session by knitting their moves along the middle, but it was Al Gharafa who were on the offensive.</p><p>Wagner Ribeiro came on as a substitute for Temurkhuja after one hour and his long-range shot in the 76th was blocked by Al Gharafa goalkeeper Qasim Burhan.</p><p>After Sneijder had a goal ruled out for offside, he found the mark in the final moments as well.</p>
