<p>Al Ahli secured all three points with a 3-2 victory at home against Al Kharaitiyat in Week 19 of the QNB Stars League on Friday.</p><p>The Brigadiers’ goals came in the second, 50th and 78th minutes through Yasine Chikhaoui, Mohammed Muntari and Hamza Younes respectively.</p><p>Rachid Tiberkanine scored both goals for the away side in the 21st and 52nd minutes.</p><p>An enthralling encounter at the Al Ahli Stadium saw a flurry of action from both sides as they fought for valuable points at the business end of the season.</p><p>The game got off to an electric start when Majed Mohammed cooly set up Chikhaoui to guide the ball home from close range.</p><p>Al Kharaitiyat did not allow the shock start to get to them as they equalised not long after when Tiberkanine latched onto a 40-yard through pass on the left, before turning his marker and firing into the net.</p><p>Just after the restart, Al Ahli retook the lead through a penalty. Muntari stepped up, deceived the goalkeeper and made no mistake with his shot.</p><p>Celebrations were shortlived as Tiberkanine came straight back at them when he beat the offside trap and headed home with the relative ease of a skilled marksman.</p><p>The home side eventually made amends for lack of concentration and scored the match-winning goal with 12 minutes left on the clock. Chikhaoui rose the highest from a corner and his flick-on was perfect for Younes to divert into the back of the net, with the keeper having no chance.</p><p>Al Ahli moved on to 22 points, whereas Al Kharaitiyat remained on 13.</p>
