Qatar SC coach Abdullah Mubarak spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 13 match against Al Markhiya.

“We are going step by step. We still have 10 games left in this season’s league. We are coming off a big loss to Al Duhail that hurt us badly. But then, we faced the best side in the QNB Stars League. We have matches to compensate for that.

“Against Al Duhail, we had only one professional player in our ranks. I hope we can avail of the services of all four of them this time. I hope our new recruits would come good sooner rather than later. I selected them keeping in mind our specific requirements.

Qatar SC have recruited strikers Patrick Fabiano and Osama Omri. And attacking midfielder Sijad Mujtaba has reached Doha to sign the deal with The Kings.

“After the big defeat, we made some psychological preparations ahead of this game. I talked to all players and their confidence has not been dented. We think about the future.

“It’s important to get some points. We win one or two games and suddenly, we are off the bottom. We are hoping for the best,” said Abdullah.
