Al Sadd coach Jesualdo Ferreira spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 13 match against Al Sailiya.

“The Al Sailiya match will not be easy. It will be more difficult and I hope my players display a strong reaction that we missed in the previous game, where we were forced to play out a goalless draw with Al Markhiya.

“Al Sailiya are a strong side with many top-quality players who are capable of turning the tide of a match. So the games against them are always tough, but we will seek to collect three points.

“I am very happy about the return of our defender Abdelkarim Hassan from Belgian club KAS Eupen. I wish he brings out his best. I also wish our ace striker Baghdad Bounedjah, one of the influential players in the side, soon recuperates from his injury. We have missed his services for quite a few games.

“Al Sadd are a big team that plays in the league, other domestic cup competitions and the AFC Champions League. We have suffered a lot this season because of injuries to other players too. Bounedjah was not the only one on the list,” said Ferreira.
