Al Shamal and Al Sailiya played out a goalless draw in Week 14 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Shamal Stadium on Friday.

The high-intensity match witnessed many missed opportunities on both sides, with the hosts having most of the chances which they were unable to convert.

Baghdad Bounedjah had his penalty saved in the 30th minute after Al Sailiya’s goalkeeper Fahad Younis had drawn a foul on a goal-bound Mohamad Manai.

Both sides finished the match with 10 men each, with Al Sailiya’s Younes Belhanda getting the marching orders in the 75th minute for a second yellow card offence, while Al Shamal’s Mohammed Waad was also sent off for a foul in five minutes of added time after receiving his second yellow card of the night.

The result moved Al Shamal to 25 points, while Al Sailiya are on 12 points in the standings.
