Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 20 match against Al Ahli.

“The team has completely put the previous game behind us and has focused recently on improving the technical and physical readiness, as well as correcting mistakes and reinforcing the strengths. Preparations have proceeded according to the programme set by the coaching staff.

“The coaching staff have developed a comprehensive plan tailored to the nature of the encounter and the objective is clear: to secure a victory and move away from the relegation zone,” said Mirghani.

Al Sailiya player Mohab Mohammed said, “The team fully understands the significance of the match, especially as we are facing a direct competitor who are only one point ahead. All players are highly focused and possess a fighting spirit during training. The players will fight until the final whistle to achieve victory and improve the team’s position in the league standings.”
