Etihad Al Gharafa coach Tayeb Anani spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Jeetour League Week 5 match against Al Khor.

“We respect our opponents, we know they possess good capabilities and experience in this competition. For our part, we look forward to entering the match in the best possible condition.

“We aim to achieve the best possible result and gain further experience that will help us develop the players’ performance, which is our primary objective,” said Tayeb Anani.

Etihad Al Gharafa player Abdelaziz Abushanab said, “The match against Al Khor is highly significant, I hope that it will serve as a turning point to get the team back on the right track.

“It will be a challenging match, but the team is prepared and our goal is to secure all three points, God-willing.”
