Al Ahli coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 20 match against Al Sailiya.

“The match’s significance and difficulty stem from both teams’ need for points to distance ourselves from the bottom of league standings. However, the team has been prepared both physically and psychologically for this crucial encounter.

“Al Ahli will be ready and we are aiming to deliver a better performance than in the previous round, acknowledging the importance and challenge of this stage. All of our remaining matches are like finals and we must win them all to secure the points,” said Younes.

Al Ahli player Helal Mohammed said, “It is important to maintain the team’s strong performance against Al Sailiya. The players will exert every effort to secure the points needed to climb the league table and move away from the relegation zone.”
