Etihad Al Gharafa coach Tayeb Anani spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Jetour League Week 6 match against Umm Salal.

“Preparations for the match against Umm Salal have gone on well. The focus has been on psychological and tactical aspects, which the team aims to integrate into the players’ style of play, ultimately preparing them to support the first team – a core objective of our work.

“Thankfully, we have bolstered the first team with five young players under the age of 18, in line with the club’s long-term vision.

“This is certainly an important match. We know our opponents possess strong capabilities, with players who bring both experience and physical power.

“We have great confidence in this group and their ability to deliver a strong performance and achieve a result worthy of the club’s name and standing,” said Tayeb Anani.
