El Jaish take on Al Arabi on Friday evening at Lekhwiya stadium, knowing that a victory will further strengthen their grip on the top four places. Jaish are currently second in the Qatar Stars League, and could be in line for their highest ever finish in the QSL.

Central to the solders rise this season has been the attacking trio of Romarinho, Sardor Rashidov and Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah. Who have collectively had a say in 34 of El Jaish’s 41 goals in the league so far this season. The influencial trio has had their say in 82% of Jaish goals so far, QSL online to look at El Jaish’s ‘RHR’. 

Romarinho joined El Jaish in the summer of 2014 from Corinthians and quickly established himself as a key player in Sabri Lamouchi’s side. Romarinho hit the ground running at Jaish, and bagged an impressive 16 goals in 24 starts in his debut season. The Brazilian striker has been utilized on the right wing for most of the season, cutting in and linking up with his strike partners to often devastating effect.



Striker Abderrazak Hamdallah was recruited this season, and boasts an impressive goal scoring record in stints in Norway and China. Twenty five goals in thirty two starts for Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F was enough to convince the El Jaish management to pay big money for the services of the Moroccan international striker.

 The move has been an unequivocal success for both player and team. So far he has racked up sixteen goals in just eighteen starts in the Qatar Stars League. He is currently in second spot for the QSL top scorer award. The attacker has a poacher’s instinct along with plenty of composure in front of goal, which has led to such a high tally of goals in this his first season with El Jaish.



Uzbekistan international Sardor Rashidov was also recruited in the summer, the left winger comes highly rated in his homeland, and has often been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo. In the Qatar Stars League he certainly hit the ground running, scoring a fine solo effort against Al Sailiya on his debut.

So far Rashidov has scored nine goals for his side along with five assists for his team mates. This mixture of goals and assists has been crucial in consolidating El Jaish’s dominance both domestically and in the AFC Champions League.



El Jaish will be hoping their attacking trio of RHR will be on fine form when they entertain Al Arabi on Friday evening at Abdullah Bin Khalifa stadium.
