<p>The Club Licensing Committee of Qatar Stars League met in October, 2017, to consider applications from member clubs for AFC Club Licences.</p><p>Clubs were assessed in the areas of sporting, infrastructure, personnel, legal, financial and business criteria.</p><p>After reviewing the summary of submissions, the Club Licensing Committee agreed to award AFC Club Licenses to:</p><p>Al Duhail</p><p>Al Gharafa</p><p>Al Rayyan</p><p>Al Sadd</p><p>Umm Salal</p><p>The application of Al Kharaitiyat was rejected.</p><p>AFC Club Licenses are valid for one season only, namely 2018.</p><p>The Club Licensing Committee would like to place on record its thanks to all club personnel involved in the process.</p>
