<p>Al Rayyan are preparing in earnest for their Qatar Clasico against Al Sadd on Thursday, 8th February, in Week 16 of the QNB Stars League.</p><p>The Lions resumed their training under Danish coach Michael Laudrup on Monday evening after a break following their 3-1 victory over Al Markhiya in Week 15 last Friday.</p><p>The team members will have a closed camp at the Torch Doha hotel on Wednesday.</p><p>Al Rayyan team manager Medkar Al Shafi said, “The Qatar Clasico is different from other matches and winning it is a matter of pride. We’re ready to put up a strong performance.”</p><p>Al Rayyan are third in the QNB Stars League standings with 35 points, four behind leaders Al Duhail and two adrift of Al Sadd.</p>
