<p>Former QNB Stars League champions Al Gharafa will take on Al Nasr of Oman in the opening match of a Friendly Tournament on Sunday.</p><p> </p><p>Teams from Qatar, Egypt, Tunisia and hosts Oman are featuring in the tournament.</p><p> </p><p>The match will be played at Al Saada Stadium in Salalah.</p><p> </p><p>Ismaily of Egypt and SC Sfaxien of Tunisian are the other teams in the tournament.</p><p> </p><p>The Organizing Committee of the event held a technical meeting on Saturday in which Saad Sattam Al Shammari, Vice President of Al Gharafa, met with football officials. Matters pertaining to the event were discussed in detail.</p><p> </p><p>Al Gharafa are in Oman to prepare for the new QNB Stars League season which kicks off on August 4 at two venues with the involvement of all the 12 sides.</p><p>Al Gharafa were in the Netherlands for a pre-season training camp that was held from July 1 to 18.</p><p> </p><p>The Qatari side featured in a number of friendly matches during their pre-season training camp.</p><p> </p><p>Coach Christian Gourcuff made the most of the time spent in Europe to work on his starting line-up for the new season. </p>
