QSL side Al Arabi have extended the contract of youngster Abdulrahman Anad for an additional year as a gesture of support from the club. The Qatari midfielder picked up a serious knee injury while representing the Qatar U23 team at the AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers in China.<br />

Anad, who enjoyed last season on loan with Al Shahania is a regular at U23 level and will be hoping for a speedy recovery form his injury as his new club has shown full support for the player.<br />

Earlier on in the week, Arabi management confirmed a trio of young local players for the side. With Qatar U23 player Tarek Hamed, youth team player Zaid Saad and midfielder Ahmed Al Nhaowi having signed contracts with the club.<br />

Al Arabi will be heading to Slovenia for their pre-season training camp at the start of next week under the guidance of new coach Kais Yaâkoubi and will return to Doha on the 26<sup>th</sup> of August.<br />
