QSL side Al Ahli continued their preparations for the new QSL season with a 1-1 draw against over Saudi side Al Batain on Monday evening.<br />

The Brigadiers came from behind to register the draw, with Mohsen Al-Yazidi scoring the equalizer on the 69^th minute, after Batain took the lead on the 49^th minute. Despite the draw, the tie was a key test for Ahli head coach Luka Bonačić who used the majority of his squad for the game.<br />

Ahli will now continue to train in Doha ahead of the opening game of the 2016/2017 QSL season when they will welcome Al Gharafa to the Hamad Bin Khalifa stadium on Thursday the 16^th of September.
