<p>QNB Stars League side Al Markhiya appointed Adel Sellimi as their coach till the end of this season.</p><p>Al Markhiya had parted ways with Qatari coach Yousef Adam following their 2-3 loss to Al Kharaitiyat in Week 16 of the QNB Stars League.</p><p>The 45-year-old signed the contract in the presence of Al Markhiya Football Head Saeed Obaid and General Manager Saleh Al Kaabi.</p><p>Sellimi has coached some Tunisian clubs and had technically been involved with his national team.</p><p>During his illustrious career as a striker, he played for top Tunisian side Club  Africain, French club Nantes and German side Freiburg.</p><p>Al Markhiya are languishing at the bottom of the table with eight points and staring at relegation with six matches remaining.</p><p>They will next play Al Khor on Saturday, 17th February.</p>
