QSL champions Al Rayyan have left Doha for their preseason training camp in the south of Spain ahead of the start of the league season on the 15th of September.The lions, led by head coach Jorge Fossati are taking a squad of 28 players to the camp which will be based in the Spanish city of Murcia. Stars such as, and Gonzalo Viera, Sergio Garcia and the returning Daniel Goumou have made the travelling party.
Whilst the club also announced that the quartet of Omar Bari, Rodrigo Tabata, Ahmed Alaa and Sebastian Soria will be leaving the camp early to join up with the Qatar national team.
Al Rayyan have so far arranged only one friendly of the camp and are set to take on Spanish segunda side Elchei in Festa d'Elx summer competition on the 12th of August. Other friendlies will be announced by the club in due course.
Al Rayyan will stay in Spain till the 20th of August before returning to Qatar to prepare for the defense of the QSL title which they won last season.
