Al Sadd coach Jesualdo Ferreira spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 18 match against Al Ahli.

“We are going to play the game with high concentration. Our team is ready. Overall, the atmosphere in the team camp is excellent because of the successive victories and the players are in high spirit.

“We now focus on the victory over Al Ahli and then prepare for the big game against Al Duhail in Week 19. The result in that game will be crucial in deciding the QNB Stars League title. Therefore, we should win against Al Ahli,” said Ferreira.

Al Sadd defender Morteza Mohammed said, “It is important to beat Al Ahli in our bid to win the league title as Al Duhail are going full steam ahead. We will be playing the remaining games as if they are finals.

“We have depth in the squad. I cannot do anything alone in defence. All players have their roles to play because responsibility is shared. I want to give off my best in all games.”
