Al Duhail captain Youssef Msakni has been adjudged the QNB Stars League’s best player for the month of February, 2018.

Msakny scored eight goals from four matches during the period to enable Al Duhail to remain as the table toppers with 48 points after the Week 18 action. They have two points more than second-placed Al Sadd.

The attacking midfielder made two assists as well after spending 339.8 minutes on the pitch. 

Msakni thus took his tally to 19 goals to be the second-best scorer, after his team-mate Youssef El Arabi (22 goals) in this season’s QNB Stars League top-scorers’ list.

The technical analysis of the Tunisian released by STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the QNB Stars League, showed he made 53.2 passes, out of which 44.5 were successful. He scored five of his goals from inside the box and three outside it.

The physical aspects revealed that Msakni covered a total distance of 8,724.7 metres with a high speed distance of 466.5, very high speed distance of 168.1 and very high speed sprints of 7.9.

Al Sadd’s Algerian attacking midfielder Jugurtha Hamroun was the best player in January.
