Al Shahania are set to take on a struggling Al Arabi side in Tuesday QSL match up. The Oryxes have yet to taste defeat in two QSL games and will be targeting a big win against a Al Arabi side who have yet to register a win in six QSL games.

Al Shahania head coach Jose Fernando opened up his pre match press conference talking up his side. “We have showed spirit to fight back in recent games and our aim is to get a win against Al Arabi.”

“The league position doesn't show the quality that Al Arabi have this season, we will have to be wary of their individuals during this match” added the Portuguese coach during the Monday morning press conference.

Shahania missed a penalty last time against Al Kharaitiyat last time out, Fernando stressed the importance in putting away their chances. “It was a shame for Shahania to miss a penalty in the last game and we have talked about the importance of taking our chances this week.”

As for Al Arabi head coach Edison Aguirre has earmarked this tie as an important one for his team. “Our game against Al Shahania is going to be a big one. Shahania are a good side and have achieved some impressive results so far in the QSL.”

“Of course there is plenty of pressure at Al Arabi at the moment, that is normal in any big club in the QSL, we must now focus on getting points and going up the standings this is our aim from this game” added the Brazilian coach.

Aguirre ended his press conference with a rallying cry for his Al Arabi side. “We are aiming to win each and every game in the QSL, we have prepared the team well and we have some positives going into this game.”
