Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 6 match against Qatar SC.

“We are in for a tough match against a very good team that has proved its strength this season after playing exceptionally well and achieving good results, which has placed them in first place in the league table, tied with Al Shamal.

“The match against Qatar SC will be difficult for both teams, especially since both are aiming to win. For our part, we are striving to collect the three points, which is our goal in every match we play, to collect as many points as possible and secure the highest position in the league table.

“Qatar SC team has good physical fitness, top-level players and a competent coach,” said Prats.

Al Shamal player Adel Alawi said, “Our preparations for the Qatar SC match were like preparing for any other league match, especially since all matches are difficult.

“Qatar SC are a direct competitor to us in the league table, specifically for first place, so I think this match will be worth six points.”
