Al Sadd coach Felix Sanchez spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 4 match against Al Shahania.

“We have returned from the international break, so we need to know the players’ physical readiness, examine their condition and prepare for the match.

“All league matches are difficult and require a lot of efforts, and every team needs points, but we are confident that we will be ready to play on Friday and perform well.

“When players return from their national team participation, it is important to monitor their feelings and ensure they are fully prepared.

“Matches are always different after returning from the international break because our players come from different countries. We will try hard to prepare well and play a good match against Al Shahania. We know we need points and we also know that the match will be difficult,” said Sanchez.

Al Sadd player Mustafa Tariq said, “The team is ready to face Al Shahania in order to obtain the three points, which are very important for us as a team competing for the championship title.

“Al Shahania are a developing team and we are fully prepared to achieve victory and collect the three points. We have confidence in ourselves and await the support of our fans during the match.”
