Al Shahania will face Al Sadd in the Week 4 opener of 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Bayt Stadium on Friday, September 12, 2025. The kick-off is at 6pm.
The match is expected to be a tough battle between the two teams, with both aiming for victory and the valuable three points.
Al Shahania are currently in 10th place in standings with one point, having drawn against Al Duhail, and lost to Umm Salal and Al Wakrah.
Defending champions Al Sadd are placed fourth with six points to their credit. They will be looking to continue their winning streak and remain in contention for the title. Al Sadd had lost to Qatar SC in their opener, but bounced back with wins against Al Ahli and Al Gharafa.
Al Shahania will be relying on their Dutch striker Pelle van Amersfoort, along with Lotfi Majder, Alhassan Koroma, goalkeeper Shehab Ellethy and several other players.
Al Sadd’s lineup boasts of several stars, including Akram Afif, Rafa Mujica, Boualem Khoukhi and others.
They will, however, miss the services of Brazilian Claudinho who has been sidelined with injury for three months.
