Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 2 match against Qatar SC.

“The team has turned the page on the Al Rayyan match and is now fully focused on the upcoming challenge. The match against Qatar SC will be difficult, especially since they are coming off an important victory over the league champions.

“Our opponents will enter the match with high spirits and the euphoria of victory, which makes the match more challenging. However, all the players in our team are ready and we are prepared to deliver a performance worthy of Al Sailiya,” said Mirghani.

Al Sailiya player Hadi Ali said, “I am happy at scoring my first goal for the team against Al Rayyan. It will give me additional motivation to perform better in upcoming matches.

“Our focus now is on the match against Qatar SC. We realize that it will be a tough and difficult match but we, players, will do our best to please Al Sailiya fans and achieve a positive result.”
