Al Shahaniya coach Santi Denia spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 1 match against Al Duhail.

“We had a good preparation period of six weeks and the camp was very successful. The team is like one family and there is a great harmony among the players.

“We are waiting for a tough match against Al Duhail. I watched the last match of the opponents, who played a great match in the AFC Champions League,” said Santi Denia.

On his part, Al Shahaniya player Marc Muniesa said, “Al Shahaniya are ready to enter the match with high morale and we know who we are facing. Al Duhail are a very strong team and they have made distinguished signings recently. But we know what we have to do and we will face them with all our strength.”
