Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 13 match against Al Rayyan.

“Once again, we will face one of the best teams in the league, a team boasting high-calibre players and a competent coaching staff.

“It will certainly be a difficult match against Al Rayyan, who are currently enjoying a strong run of form and are looking to maintain it. However, we are also aiming for victory and the three points to make up for the points we dropped in the last two rounds.

“We are determined to give our best to get back on the winning track and maintain our position among the top teams in the league standings,” said Prats.

Al Shamal goalkeeper Babacar Seck said, “We will face a great team with top-level players and we are looking to be at our best and achieve the best possible result in this upcoming match, which will not be easy at all.

“Our goal is to win and secure the three points, but that will require a tremendous effort from the Al Shamal players, who will spare no effort to deliver a good performance and achieve the desired result.”
