Al Ahli coach Igor Biscan spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 7 match against Al Arabi.

“It is crucial for the team to maintain its winning streak and avoid a return to defeat after their impressive performance in the previous round.

“We will strive to achieve our objective, the team will play with full focus to secure the points despite its physical strain from playing continuously in and outside Doha over the past two weeks without rest. The team has played five matches during this period, including two in Bahrain and Turkmenistan, and three league matches, averaging one every three days – a tiring schedule. However, I affirm that the team will be ready for the encounter.

“Al Ahli aim to deliver a high level of performance and are aware of the strength and difficulty of our opponents, Al Arabi, who have regained their form and achieved important victories in the league, most notably against Al Sadd,” said Biscan.

Al Ahli player Oumar Sekou said, “The Al Arabi match is of great importance to us as players and we will work to achieve a result that satisfies the club's fans after our positive performance in the previous round.

“The team will play the match with full focus in order to secure the points.”
