Al Sailiya assistant coach Amine Farikha spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 14 match against Al Arabi.

“The two teams are waiting for a big and important match, and there are not many solutions before us. We have no choice but to win all the upcoming games, not just the next match, in order to improve the team's position, advance in the standings and move away from the danger zone.

“The preparations were intense, and we talked a lot with the players, especially at the psychological level, and we worked to correct some of the mistakes we made during the last match against Al Shamal, during which we did not appear at the level we hoped to show. We hope to be at a better level against Al Arabi in order to achieve a positive result.

“We may see Al Arabi in their best condition, especially since they are a distinguished team and have good Qatari and professional players. We hope to offer our best and be able to reap the three points,” said Amine.

Al Sailiya player Ahmed Al Menhali said, “The match will be difficult in view of the fluctuation in the level of both teams, but there is no alternative for us other than to win and collect the three points regardless of performance and level. The important thing for us from this match is to win the three points.

“The Al Sailiya vs Al Arabi match is always special and we desperately need to win the three points with our determination and team spirit, in addition to the changes that the team is currently witnessing at the level of professional players. I hope we will succeed in achieving our goal and winning the match.”
