Umm Salal coach Wesam Rizik spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Al Wakrah.
“The match against Al Wakrah will be very difficult, as they are a team that has witnessed great levels in the recent period and competing for the top four. They are also an organized team and are considered as one of the best currently.
“We will go into the match strongly and there will be a reaction from the players. We will be even better than we were in the last match against Al Sailiya, which ended in a draw.
“We are fully prepared for Al Wakrah and regardless of the injuries suffered by Ismail Ibrahim and Khaled Abdelraouf, there will be an appropriate options for this important clash,” said Wesam.
Umm Salal player Adel Alawi said, “We are ready to face Al Wakrah in the ninth round of the league because it is an important match.
“We will make every effort to win and get match points in order to advance in the standings.”
