Qatar SC coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 7 match against Al Gharafa.

“We are expecting a difficult match against Al Gharafa, as is the case in all our league matches this season.

“Al Gharafa are a great team led by a great coach and we are currently suffering from several absences due to various reasons, including injuries. However, we are looking forward to giving our best and achieving the desired result.

“Regarding the impact of the team’s first league loss in the previous round, I would say that it is football; you can lose. We are not in a drama, but in a competition where all results are possible. It is normal for any team to experience a loss and the most important thing is to overcome it and focus on the upcoming matches,” said Marquez.

Qatar SC player Faiz Selemani said, “I have confidence in the team’s ability to achieve a positive result against Al Gharafa.
