Al Khor coach Jacobo Ramallo spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Jeetour League Week 5 match against Etihad Al Gharafa.

“We aim to reach a stage where we can exert control over the flow of game for longer stretches, not just for a few minutes, both in attack and defence.

“It is essential that all players remain fully focused and recognize the importance of making the most of this period; it provides us with an opportunity to improve our performance and strengthen the cohesion among the squad,” said Ramallo.

Al Khor player Ricardo Gomes said, “We feel great, especially after the difficult start we experienced in our first two matches, both at individual and collective levels.

“We have managed to secure positive results in our recent games. While winning the Player of the Match award is certainly pleasing, my greatest satisfaction comes from the performance we delivered as a group and the positive spirit that has emerged within the team.”
