Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 18 match against Al Sailiya.

“Of course, the match against Al Sailiya is crucial for us and we need the three points to climb the standings. We know very well that the match will not be easy given the circumstances our opponents are facing in their fight against relegation, and they are also determined to win.

“Our position in the standings also makes a victory essential for us. We will continue to work hard in training to give our best and we will strive to secure the three points,” said Belmadi.

Al Duhail player Mubarak Shanan said, “We will strive for victory to regain our balance and climb a little in the league standings, and try to get the team back on track. Al Sailiya are a tough team and their position in the standings makes the match even more difficult. Winning the three points is our sole objective.”
