Al Rayyan coach Artur Jorge spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 11 match against Al Arabi.

“We certainly missed playing in the league. During this period, we played in the QSL Cup and Gulf Club Champions League. These were good competitions, but we missed the league.

“It is essential to return to the league with the aim of achieving victory. I feel the team is well-prepared to deliver the required performance against Al Arabi. This match is for the players and we must put all our enthusiasm on the pitch to defeat our opponents.

“As for the fans, they are a very important factor for us. It is crucial that they come to the stadium to support the team and try to end this year with an important victory. The players deserve support and to feel the enthusiasm on the field. I hope to see a large number of fans cheering on the team to motivate the players and raise their morale,” said Artur Jorge.

Al Rayyan player Roger Guedes said, “Preparations are going on very well and we have talked a lot about this match. We have achieved good results during the team’s recent matches and have played many important games.

“Everyone is ready and we are training according to what the coach plans. We will focus on the three points because they are very important.”
