Al Wakrah coach Vicente Moreno spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 14 match against Al Shahania.

“We have focused on training and I am confident we are ready to face Al Shahania in the best possible way. I hope luck will be on our side in this important match, which will be difficult because Al Shahania have very good players and a good coach.

“I know they will perform well. We are only thinking about ourselves and that is the most important thing for me,” said Moreno.

Al Wakrah player Luis Alberto said, “I have confidence in our ability to overcome Al Shahania. Recent training sessions have revealed a strong desire from everyone to win.

“The team has worked well and I think the most important thing now is to secure the three points.”
