Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 17 postponed match against Al Arabi.

“The team has utilized this period perfectly in terms of both physical readiness and tactical discipline. Facing Al Arabi requires the highest level of focus, given both teams’ desire to secure a result that strengthens their position in the league standings. Al Sailiya will enter the match with a highly competitive mindset, while respecting opponents.

“We always work to instil a winning mentality within the team and the players understand the magnitude of the responsibility placed upon them at this stage,” said Mirhgani.

Al Sailiya player Abdulrahman Mohammed said, “The team has completed its preparations with high morale, the match represents an important test that reflects the extent of the team’s collective performance.
