Al Rayyan defeated Al Sadd 5-3 in 2025-2026 season QSL Cup Round 9 at the Al Gharafa Training Pitch 5 on Friday.

Al Rayyan overturned a two-goal deficit (1-3) to secure the victory in dramatic style, consolidating their lead in the standings as they extended their points tally to 25, while The Wolves are struggling at the lower end of the table, having garnered only five points.

Rodrigo Moreno (15th and 77th minutes) and Roger Guedes (59th and 81st minutes) netted a brace each, while Wesley Ribeiro (83rd minute) added the fifth for Al Rayyan.

Al Sadd, on the other hand, got their goals through Paulo Otavio (third minute), Giovani Henrique (12th minute) and Hashim Ali (30th minute).
