Mesaimeer were held to a 1-1 draw by Al Shamal in 2025-2026 season QSL Cup Round 8 at the Al Gharafa Training Pitch 4 on Friday.

Baghdad Bounedjah opened the scoring for Al Shamal in the 38th minute before Idrissa Thiam equalized for the hosts from the spot in the 84th minute to ensure an evenly share of the spoils of the well-balanced encounter.

With the result, Mesaimeer’s tally increased to 10 points from two wins and four draws, while Al Shamal are on 12 points after achieving three victories and drawing same number so far in the competition.
