Umm Salal notched a crucial 2-1 win over Al Waab in Round 7 of 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at Al Gharafa (Pitch 2) on Saturday.

Their fifth win of the tournament saw Umm Salal’s points tally move to 16 points while Al Waab after a third loss remained on 12 points.

Umm Salal went ahead in the 41^st minute of the match through Mashaal Al Shammari’s goal.

Al Waab equalized in the second session (59^th minute) with Amjad Murshid being on target.

Umm Salal, however, wrested things back and were back in the lead in the 67^th minute as Ahmed Abdulmaqsoud struck, and ensured that they stayed ahead till the end.
