Al Wakrah and Al Kharaityat shared a 1-1 draw in Round 5 of the 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium of Al Ahli club on Friday, October 17, 2025.
Al Wakrah went into the lead in the 44th minute through a fine Raul Gomez strike, but were reduced to 10 men early in the second half when Almahdi Ali was shown the red card in the 56th minute for a dangerous tackle that flipped a charging Ahmed Gamal Mohammed of Al Kharaitiyat.
Al Kharaitiyat got the equalizer in the 89th minute as Jordan Gele deflected in a good pass from Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Jassem.
The result ended Al Kharaitiyatâs winning streak of three matches and took their tally to 10 points, while Al Wakrah logged their first point after earlier three losses.
