Salih Mohamed Al Yahri scored the lone goal as Al Markhiya defeated Al Khor 1-0 in Round 4 of the 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium on Wednesday.

Al Yahri's goal came in the 40th minute of play of the high-intensity encounter as his team advanced to seven points, moving away from the lower rung of the ladder in the 20-team competition.

Despite Al Khor’s several attempts at getting an equalizer, especially in the second half, Al Markhiya’s defence remained resolute as they staved off any attempt at bridging the rock-solid backline by the rampaging Al Khor’s forwards.

Al Khor, meanwhile, also remained on seven points from two wins and a draw so far.
