Yazan Al Naimat scored a hat-trick and Joao Pedro a brace as Al Arabi handed Lusail a 6-1 defeat in Round 4 of 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
The big win not only fetched Al Arabi the valuable three points but also took them to the top of the standings with a total of 13 points, ahead on goal difference with second-placed Al Rayyan.
Al Arabi led 4-0 at half time. While Pedro scored in the 19th and 41st minutes of the opening half, Al Naimat’s goals came in the 23rd, 34th and 87th minutes of the match. Michael Olunga scored in the 76th minute.
Lusail’s only goal was scored by Mohammed Barakat in the 57th minute.
It was Lusail’s third loss of the tournament as they slid to 15th place with a tally of 4 points.
